What to expect at an appointment

On your first visit to the podiatrist, they will go through the problem with you; when it affects you, how long you have had the condition etc. After this they will run through a brief medical history in case anything ties in with the condition you are presenting with.

Next the podiatrist will look at your feet and make an assessment of what is wrong. They will then share with you the options for treating you and once you have decided the best way forward they will treat you on the same appointment.

If further sessions are necessary, the podiatrist will discuss this with you before you book another appointment.

Of course, if you have any questions they will be pleased to answer them for you as you go along.
