Osteopath

The Role

The role will be taking over a partial patient list and there is scope to quickly add to this patient list due a high demand of MSK services in the local area including both private patients and NHS referrals from local GP practices.

Schedule: 1-2 days per week, with at least one afternoon/evening shift. However, as your list further develops, there's great potential for additional availability.

Percentage split negotiable for the right candidate and dependent upon experience - to be discussed in detail at interview.

Cliniko for patient notes and diary, and Rehab My Patient for exercise prescription and management programs.

Support and CPD available.

Social media, online and in-house marketing provided.

Consumables and equipment provided by the clinic at reasonable request.

Reception cover and assistance provided.

Place of work will be at Falmouth Osteopathic Clinic, 5 Kimberley Park Road, Falmouth, TR11 2DA.

Expected turnaround from the position offer to start date is 2-4 weeks. Start date negotiable.

The Candidate (you!)

The right candidate must:

  • Have impeccable communication skills and be able to integrate into a team environment.

  • Must be able to work with a patient-centred focus/evidence-informed approach.

  • Must able to work unassisted.

  • Will be confident in referring to external services such as GP practices.

  • Must maintain consistent high-levels of clinical and professional standards.

  • Have the ability to reflect and strive to improve/develop your skills and services.

  • Be registered with GOsC and hold valid insured.

It is preferred that the candidate has a minimum of 1-year post-graduate experience, however, new graduates are welcome to apply.

Additional desirable qualifications: Exercise Rehabilitation, Acupuncture/Dry Needling, Sports Massage Therapy, Paediatric Osteopathy.

It would be preferable but not essential if the candidate would be willing to engage with the Director in relation to social media marketing content.
